Proposed State Medicaid Changes Prompt Concern

State officials say a recent Medicaid expansion is over enrolled and costs too much money — so it’s asking the federal government for permission to ramp the program down a bit.  But as WNPR’s Jeff Cohen reports, that move is being met with objections.

If the State is saying this it’s probably an understatement. Reality that there’s not enough of other people’s money for our State pols to spend, the reaction of advocates, lawyers, and lefty pols pretty much irrelevant. The opinion of the Feds shouldn’t be relevant either. Can’t get blood from a stone, etc.
