Edwin Vargas was an unsuccessful Democratic primary challenger to Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra. Then, he asked the state party to get involved — saying the mayor should be taken off the Democratic line on the ballot because he had also accepted the endorsement of the city’s Republicans.
But in a just-released opinion, the state Democrats essentially dismissed Vargas’ complaint. You can read it here.
