Hartford Legislators Upset With Board Of Ed

Looks like Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra wasn’t the only politician concerned with the search for a new schools superintendent.

Here’s a letter we just obtained but that was sent last week — it’s from six state legislators from Hartford who were upset with the $2.7 million in bonuses paid out by the board of education,  and with the superintendent search process itself.

Notable for their absence on the letter are school district employee, possible mayoral candidate, and State Rep. Kelvin Roldan, as well as State Sen. John Fonfara.  Notable for his presence on the letter — state Rep. Hector Robles.
