Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra’s decision earlier this week to intervene in the board of education’s search for a superintendent continues to reverberate.
Today, one of Segarra’s opponents in the next mayoral campaign weighed in. Shawn Wooden is a Hartford attorney running for mayor. Segarra says his critics have ignored what some have called the inappropriate intervention of school spokesman David Medina on behalf of one of the two superintendent candidates.
