The news is quiet from city hall. There’s still no council president, and there’s still no city council replacement for Mayor Pedro Segarra.
As for Segarra, his staff says he’s been spending his time meeting-and-greeting people in the city, as well as speed-dating department heads in his effort to reassess the way the place runs.
And we’re told tomorrow Segarra begins his effort to set priorities in earnest. He’ll be spending half of Thursday and Friday on retreat offsite with his chief of staff, his chief operating officer, and his corporation counsel to figure out what he wants the next 17 months to look like.
