Chief Operating Officer David Panagore called to confirm an earlier report on Brookman’s Blog of a break-in last night at city hall.
Panagore said someone got access to the corporation counsel’s office on the third-floor, and it looks as though someone tried to get into the youth services office, too. He said police are investigating.
Panagore added that there was a city council meeting until roughly 9 p.m. last night, and that the incident presumably happened after that. Finally, Panagore said city hall would see some increased security. He wouldn’t elaborate.
