Earlier today, we posted a story about how a computer breakdown was stopping public assistance benefits in ten states across the country.
Now, the contractor, J.P. Morgan, says the problem has been resolved. Here’s the company’s statement:
All customers can now use their SNAP (food stamps) and other cash benefits cards after we resolved the technical issue that affected EBT card customers in some states this morning. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. This did not affect debit, credit or other cardholders.
