If the State is saying this it’s probably an understatement. Reality that there’s not enough of other people’s money for our State pols to spend, the reaction of advocates, lawyers, and lefty pols pretty much irrelevant. The opinion of the Feds shouldn’t be relevant either. Can’t get blood from a stone, etc.
